Mercy killing is the practice of intentionally killing or ending someone’s life to relieve pain and suffering. It is also referred to as “Euthanasia.” And Euthanasia translates to “good death,” making it and mercy killing terms that can be comforting in the face of difficult situations. Mercy killing, Euthanasia, Assisted suicide; whatever you call it or however we justified it is killing by all means. Mercy killing is a practice of ending life to release an individual from an incurable disease or intolerable pain. It is an action which brings death to a certain patient. When the perpetrator is considered to have acted out to free another from suffering, there is conflict over whether those accused are mercy killer, deserving of compassion from the courts or whether they are murders who should be prosecuted and convicted.
