In the laboratory and in a teaching institution such as schools, colleges and universities the main difference in which standard solutions are prepared is in the processes. In an educational institution a laboratory staff must be present at all times however in an industrial environment no supervision is needed. The machines in the laboratory are more advance than in educational institutions as they can read and translate the results quickly. The results are also more efficient as in teaching institutions there is a lot of room for errors as most of the analysis is manually concluded. Class B glassware such as (volumetric flask, pipette, and others) are used in educational establishments. Whereas the more expensive class A glassware is used in labs and the results are more accurate.
